Tapping sleeve, two heavy welded steel sections bolted together (stainless steel options for body and bolts), seals against a concave wedge Nitrile (Buna-N)gasket around the tap opening, fitting several classes of pipe. Sleeve design directly reinforces pipe without shims or pads.
