WACO slide gates are used extensively within treatment plants to control the flow of water into tanks or through channels. Poly-Glide ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) polymer bearing bars integrated into the gate frames minimize friction and greatly reduce operating force required to open the gate. The WACO slide gate may be configured for embedment in a concrete channel, mounting to the walls of an existing channel, or mounting at a port or trough opening into a tank. For particularly corrosive applications, slide gates may be fabricated from 300 series stainless steel.
