Welcome to Good Roads.

For 130 years, the Ontario Good Roads Association – now simply “Good Roads” – has been dedicated to improving municipal roads and associated infrastructure in Ontario.

Today, Good Roads has 428 municipal members and 21 First Nations members.

We exist to connect our members to each other, to other levels of government, to academia and to relevant private sector interests.

We provide our members with training, knowledge, political advocacy and solutions to their most pressing problems. This work is important because the management of roads and transportation are changing faster than ever.

“Good Roads and its members are located on the traditional territory of Indigenous peoples dating back countless generations. We want to show our respect for their contributions and recognize the role of treaty-making in what is now Ontario. Hundreds of years after the first treaties were signed, they are still relevant today. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action remind us of the work that remains if we are to build a better future for all.”
