Traffic Barrier, Concrete, Precast (Type T Connection)

Manufactured by Powell Contracting

Type T is a proprietary temporary concrete barrier developed by Rockingham Precast. It has been successfully crash-tested in accordance with NCHRP Report 350 Test Level 3. Connections consist of two 12mm x 610mm A-36 steel plates welded together (in a T-shape) which fit inside a 102mm x 102mm A500 steel C section.
