Tapping sleeve, two heavy welded steel sections bolted together (carbon flange tapping sleeve (662) or stainless steel flange tapping sleeve (663)), stainless steel body/neck/nuts/bolts/washers, seals against a concave wedge Nitrile (Buna-N) gasket around the tap opening, fitting several classes of pipe. Sleeve design directly reinforces pipe without shims or pads.
